Haffner Energy wins Business France’s “Coup de Cœur” CSR Booster Award and becomes Team France Export Ambassador

04/23/2024

The “Coup de Cœur” CSR 2023 award was presented to Haffner Energy last Thursday by Business France, at the “Dare to Export: Tomorrow’s Champions” event. The award, which follows the company’s participation in the Booster Cleantech USA 2023, recognizes Haffner Energy’s efforts to accelerate the international commercialization of its innovative, patented technology for converting biomass residues into renewable energy. Haffner Energy was also named Ambassador of Team France Export.

Franck Tallieu
Director of Human Resources and CSR
We'd like to thank Business France for its support and congratulate the entire Haffner Energy team for living up to the values that have earned us this 'Coup de cœur' CSR award. This encouragement will fuel the energy and enthusiasm we invest in fulfilling our mission!

Business France and Bpifrance, who have stood by the company at every key stage of its development, are doubling down on their support, as are CCI France and Régions de France via the Grand-Est Region, a pioneering region in the emergence of a bio-economy sector. The company was chosen to join the 2024 class of Team France Export Ambassadors. This program is designed to raise the profile of international business among French entrepreneurs, give companies a voice in dealings with governments, and promote Team France Export and its values.

Marcella Franchi
SVP North America
We are proud to become an ambassador for Team France Export. Business France's support has been important for our deployment in the United States. A quality service that made it possible for us to quickly understand the context and benefit from concrete feedback on conquering new markets.

Haffner Energy’s participation in the Cleantech USA 2023 Booster has enabled the Company to accelerate its emergence in the American industrial and economic ecosystem. Haffner Energy has thus benefited from increased visibility with potential partners, notably with the launch of collaborations for sustainable energy projects in the United States and abroad, as illustrated by the partnership agreement signed last month with the American company Hexas Biomass, or taking up residence at Greentown Labs in Houston. In France, the company became a France 2030 laureate for its project to build a high-capacity plant in Saint-Dizier (Haute-Marne).  This national program is endowed with 54 billion euros deployed over 5 years. Its main aim is to develop industrial competitiveness and the technologies of the future.

A member of the Bioeconomy for Change (B4C) Competitiveness Cluster, the Coq Vert Community and the French Fab, Haffner Energy has also joined Bpifrance’s Club Excellence in 2024 alongside 2,000 committed managers and entrepreneurs. This year, the Company reaffirms its ambition to provide a global response to the challenges of decarbonization for all players in industry, mobility and for local authorities, with the participation of its sales team in the Morocco, Italy and Northern Europe Boosters.
